Kick Ass

This is a hard one to talk about, its controversial. But I liked it, a lot and even tho it has an eleven year old girl shooting guns and cussing its not serious, the entire movie is hilarious, but she does steal the show and I think if you're open minded you'll like this move. I enjoyed it a lot..

Nightmare on Elm Street 2010

Really really good. not better than the original but the best of all the remakes so far. It stays to the original story very well but made it modern. It had a lot of omg and jump parts to it. some things don't make sense, but the story all in all flows well together.

Avatar - AMAZING movie. James Cameron has done it again. I didnt see this in theatres. I dont go out to the movies as much as I did. I wasnt so sure in the beginning because it was a bit slow to start off, but after awhile, the story picked up and it was really good. The Special Effects were out of this world! I loved it when they flew. That was awesome. I like how everything lit up at night and the ground lit up when they walked. Everything was great about it LOVE IT!!  5 stars!!

The Blind Side: I was wanting to see this in theatres, but I never got the chance, so I bought it at Wal-Mart. After seeing I really wished I could have seen it in theatres. It was such a great film! I'm a sucker for true stories, and this one won me over. Sandra Bullock was amazing in the movie! She definitely deserved the oscar. I'm a major foorball fan, although I cheer for the Chicago Bears.  Grin Seeing Michael go from a ghetto neighborhood, to be taken on by a family and grow to be a NFL football player for the Baltimore Ravens was awesome to see. I'd recommend this movie if you're into True Stories. Its touching at the end. I did cry. LOL 5 stars

The Curious Case of Benjamin Button: I went to the Swap Meet and got this movie for $5! I've wanted to see this for the longest time. My fiance and I watched it together and we both really enjoyed it. He's more of an action person, but he loved Brad Pitt, so we watched it. It was a little like The Notebook as far as reading it from a Diary. It was a great portrayel of a man groing up and being viewed as a old man, then growing "Older". Then he meers Cate Blanchetts character when he's 7, but he looks like he's 70. Both characters have an excellent chemistry together. It reminded of the movie When Harry Met Sally and how every few years they run into each other. Brad Pitt do such a good job! It was very cool to watch as he aged backwards and what excellent makeup skills took place during the whole film. When he hit childhood, it was so sad at the very end. Sad and also touching. The last 10 minutes I cried till the credits ran. 5 stars!!

Iron Man 2: Freakin' Amazing. Honestly, I might be a little biased toward marvel movies, just because i grew up reading the comic books, but guys, the movie is fantastic. If you haven't seen it already, please, for the love of god, go see it. It's just so good, and the cast is overall amazing. What few speaking parts Mickey Rourke has are absolute brilliance, and Robert Downey Jr. is as fantastic as ever. 9/10

Ten Inch Hero:Now, this one's going to come WAY out of left field. This movie was released very low key, in fact, only Blockbusters carry it on DVD. Still, it's an awesome movie. It's about the owner of a sub shop in Santa Cruz, and the people that work for him. Now, normally i can't watch a movie without a vampire or guns or something action packed, but this movie is really really good. It's a bit sad at times, but overall, it's just a great movie.. 9.5/10

Splice

Um... wow.. yea this movie was not what I expected. I think it honestly done in very very poor taste. Concept could have made a decent movie but then where it went was wrong on soo many levels... if you wanna go see it fair warning there is human/nonhuman consentual sex AND rape.. so yea I give it

Prince of Persia :Sands of Time

My new husband and I went and saw this the night before we came home from our honeymoon. We were going to see Robin Hood, but this one we wanted to see more. Since it was made by Disney I wasn't expecting a whole lot of action. Also, it was directed by Mike Newell who also directed HP 4. I gotta say this was a pretty good film. I remember watching my friend play the video game and the movie got most of the effects right. Especially when he travels back and turns to sand momemtarily. The story line was nothing original. Girl hates Boy, Boy hates Girl. Girl Loves Boy, Boy Loves Girl. But seeing Jake Gyllenhal play in an action movie...I think it was good. Ben Kingsley always does a great performance! The movie did remind me a bit about Disney's Aladdin. How he was a boy from the streets and he falls in love with a princess. To me, it had the right amount of action, romance, suspense, and mystery for being Disney. I dont really go out of my way to see Video Game Movies, but this was worth it. I'll wait till the DVD is $10 or less before buying it though. 3.5 out of 5 stars.

Eclipse

Movie was better than the first two. I felt it stayed true to the books. Its basically the movie twilight fans have been waiting for. So 3 out of 5 stars. I am mad that the last movie will be in two parts, I'm sorry but I don't think its necessary for a two part movie..

The Last Airbender

Oh finally the real avatar movie came to theaters! Lol, sorry if you watched the cartoon its actually called Avatar: the last airbender, so when avatar is mentioned I automatically think of this movie first. But yea I loved it. It stayed close to the cartoon, the special fx were awesome and I thought the characters were played very well. This is another movie for the fans of the show.4 out of 5.
