just out of curiosity, who do you hope wins the democratic nomination? Why?

Without a doubt I want to see Barack Obama as the Democratic candidate for president.  He brings new and fresh ideas to the table, while not bringing the baggage that all other candidates carry.  I believe in what he stands for, and what he truely wants to accomplish.  He has a good plan for universal healthcare, and was the only candidate to stand up for getting out of Iraq soon.

I chose Hillary. I loved Bill Clinton and have been hoping Hillary would run for many years. I think she would be the perfect person to be our first female president. She's brilliant, realistic, and has done a great job as our senator. You go girl!   Women rule.

Aww I forgot this was here. I soooo wanted Hillary to be president! I hope Obama doesnt win. I also hope McCain doesnt win.

I would have to say I fully agree with you Spooky.  I think that Hillary would have made a decent president.  I feel that with either of the remaining candidates we lose.  Sadly it reminds me of an episode of South Park, where the children are forced to choose between a turd sandwich and a giant douche for their school mascot.  At the end of the episode Stan, at least I think it was Stan, makes the observation that nearly all of our election decisions are between a turd sandwich and a giant douche.  Nobody wins.

Definately feel like we have to choose between a turd sandwich and a giant douche. Good analogy. I think I've said before that I've been hoping Hilary would run since Bill was still in office. I always thought he was brilliant and also had a sneaky suspicion that she was smarter than him lol
