i found this chapter really excellent Spooky! i really enjoyed how fast paced it was, with each segment being really well edited, detailed, but still to the point. i also loved the little descriptive phrases you put in - if my computer was any good i would cut and paste particular quotes - but one that i remember was about people being like specks of dust moving out of Christina's way.
Harry and Smidgeon are cracking me up at the moment, and i love Charles to bits. he is so gorgeous! And i think Hawthorne and Sara are really showing their strength in this chapter. i love having access to Sara's inner thoughts, i find her a really likeable, interesting character, and it definately is nerve wracking to see the impending doom closing in around her, and that she knows it wont be long until everything falls apart. like she is hanging on by a thread but still trying to please everyone.
i am totally baffled by where Nicolae is in this chapter! i do love the title 'cold hands' though, it is very vampirey
as for Christina, i am quite intrigued to know what is going on with her character, and what the prescription was for?
the dramatic ending is one hell of a cliffy, and i really dont get how Draco will survive considering he is already so weak. i was chuffed that he managed to punch Shorty Jim in the nose though.
i hope your hand gets better soon and i'm looking forward to reading the next instalment when you are well enough to finish it! sorry for the horribly late and short review, but i really did love this chapter
